The Essential Treasurer will address in one-half day the modern ‘essential’ skills in Treasury. As such it will incorporate a balance of technically based content including better practices in hedging, liquidity and working capital management, regulatory updates on derivatives and accounting for treasury transactions, insights into the evolution of bank relationships, and critical personal skills such as leadership and entrepreneurial skills.It will also provide an update on the ever-changing legal and regulatory environment, particularly legislative and regulatory changes that directly affect treasurers’ responsibilities locally and abroad. The event also includes a brief membership update from the Association. This comprehensive half day workshop will include a line up of the finance and treasury industry’s leading speakers. This premium event will be open to only to FTA members in 2013, and will be held in each state during May.
